Theoretical deadlocks and practical consequences of neo-liberalism: A paradigm crisis [Neo-liberalizmin teorik açmazlari ve pratik sonuçlari: Bir paradigma krizi]

This paper approaches to neo-liberalism as a paradigm that incorporates both political and economic aspects,and attempts to identify its theoretical presuppositions and anomalies in practice that lead to a crisis. in doing so,the paper seeks to determine ontological presuppositions of neo-liberalism,and to analyze the theoretical deadlocks of those in terms of both its logical consequences and anomalies in practice. in this context,it is argued that the notions of individualism,free market,and minimal state in particular,which characterize neo-liberalism,move from,not explicitly,but implicitly,from the assumption of a kind of tabula rasa (blankness),and this assumption brings about certain deadlocks at the levels of both theory and practice.
