چکیده
|
The aim of this article to analyze the effect of the trips agreement on developing countries in the context of biodiversity politics. while international agreements regulate the biodiversity field, they are establishing a regime to access genetic resources and appropriation. as there is not only one regulation on biodiversity, different actors with divergent interests and power resources are contested. in this contested field the nation state plays a significant role. as nation states support their national capital and participants, they also try to attract foreign capital to their own territories. however state apparatuses are not homogenous themselves and their different institutions are interested in different regulations. at the helm of the hierarchy, the trips agreement conflicts with the other biodiversity regulations. when these problems and contradictions are evaluated,it is seen that post fordist transformation in the biodiversity field has been realized.
