Strategic management and Total Quality Management: Similarities,differences and implications for public administration [Stratejik Yönetim ve Toplam Kalite Yönetimi: Benzerlikler,Farkliliklar ve Kamu Yönetimi İçin Çikarimlar]

Even though strategic management and total quality management are widely applied in public administration of many countries,similarities,differences and interrelation between both approaches are not analyzed very much in turkey. this study aims to elaborate the differences and similarities among two approaches and implications for public administration. depending on analysis of development and implementation of both approaches it is concluded that they are complementary rather than dissonant. each approach has potential strengths in comparison with the other,which public administrators should consider.
