The structural characteristics and problems of the Azerbaijan Banking Sector in the global financial crisis environment [Küresel Mali Kriz Ortaminda Azerbaycan Bankacilik Sektörü nün Yapisi,Özellikleri ve Sorunlari]

This article has attempted to explore the current structure and characteristics of the banking sector of azerbaijan and to scrutinize the restructuring of the sector following the global financial crisis that has started in 2008. with an aim to ensure financial stability in the banking system,the central bank's anti-crisis measures have been analyzed and,constructive suggestions and recommendations concerning the reforms effective in curing global financial problems and the implementation of promodernization policies in banking sector have been set forth in the study.
