The Crisis of Justifying Ethical-Political Values in Modern Thought

This paper attempts to interrogate the justification of ethical-political values in modern political thought, and the problematic of how they have been universalized, in terms of the dominant form of legitimation which is conceptualized as 'imposing universality'. moreover, the paper also attempts to propose an alternative form ofjustification which is conceptualized as 'inviting universality' to 'imposing universality', and seeks to illustrate how to theoretically construct the general framework of this form of justification.
