بررسی حمایت والدین از فرزندان بزرگسال و عوامل اثرگذار بر آن در شهر تهران

چکیده
|
در سال‌های اخیر تغییرات جمعیتی منجر به افزایش مدت‌زمان فرزندیوالدگری و پیچیده تر شدن پیوندهای عمودی بین نسل ها شده است. هدف این مقاله بررسی میزان حمایت والدین از فرزندان بزرگسال در ابعاد مختلف و عوامل موثر بر آن بوده است؟ جمعیت آماری پیمایش، افراد 18 سال و بالاتر شهر تهران بوده که حداقل یک والد زنده داشته و هم‌سکنا نبوده‌اند. نمونه 1000 نفری از 30 حوزه تهران به شیوه خوشه‌ای چندمرحله‌ای، انتخاب شده و یافته‌ها نشان داده: حمایت والدین از فرزندان بزرگسال در سطح بالایی بوده و در ابعاد مختلف یک‌سان نیست. به طوری که پند و نصیحت، علاقه‌مندی به زندگی شخصی و حمایت عاطفی، در سطح بالا و حمایت ابزاری و حمایت مالی در سطح پایین‌تری گزارش شده و حمایت مادران در همه ابعاد به‌استثنای حمایت مالی بیش از پدران بوده است. حمایت والدین متاثر از سن والدین، تضاد زناشویی والدین، تضاد والدین و فرزندان بزرگسال، حمایت فرزندان بزرگسال از والدین، و تعداد فرزندان بوده و یافته‌ها تایید کننده تئوری‌های همبستگی بین نسلی، نوع‌دوستی و اقتضایی است.

A Study of Parents’ Support for Adult Children and the Factors Affecting it in Tehran

Abstract
|
In recent years, demographic changes have led to increasing the duration of childparenting and a complication of vertical links between generations. The purpose of this article was to investigate the level of parental support for adult children in different dimensions and the factors affecting it. The statistical population of the survey was people aged 18 years and older in Tehran who had at least one living parent and were not coresidence. A thousand samples from 30 districts of Tehran were selected by multistage cluster sampling, and the findings showed that parents’ support for adult children is at a high level and is not the same in different dimensions. Advice, interest in personal life, and emotional support are reported at a high level and instrumental support and financial support are at a much lower level. Mothers’ support in all dimensions except financial support has been significantly higher than fathers. Parental support is affected by parental age, parental marital conflict, parentadult conflict, adult child support for parents, and the number of children. In addition, the findings confirmed the theories of intergenerational solidarity, altruism, and contingency.
