دیدگاه بیماران نسبت به حفظ حریم خصوصی توسط کادر درمان بیمارستان شهید بهشتی قم

زمینه و هدف: حفظ حریم خصوصی یک ارزش بنیادین و از حقوق اساسی انسان است که ارتباط بسیار نزدیکی با ارزش های هنجاری و ضوابط اخلاقی دارد. لذا کارکنان گروه پزشکی باید حفظ حریم خصوصی بیماران را به عنوان یکی از اصول اخلاقی اولیه مورد توجه قرار دهند. این مطالعه با هدف تعیین دیدگاه بیماران نسبت به حفظ حریم خصوصی توسط کادر درمان در بیمارستان شهید بهشتی قم انجام شد.روش بررسی: این مطالعه مقطعی بر روی 462 بیمار بستری در بیمارستان شهید بهشتی قم و با نمونه گیری به روش در دسترس، انجام شد. ابزار گردآوری داده ها، پرسشنامه حفظ حریم خصوصی پژوهشگرساخته بود. جهت تحلیل داده ها از آزمون های کای اسکوئر، آنالیز واریانس و تی مستقل استفاده شد.یافته ها: نتایج نشان داد حفظ حریم خصوصی بیماران در 3/19 درصد موارد نامطلوب، در 2/48 درصد موارد متوسط و در 5/32 درصد به صورت مطلوب رعایت شده است.نتیجه گیری کلی: در این مطالعه میزان رعایت حریم خصوصی در حد متوسط بود، لذا به منظور افزایش اعتماد و رضایتمندی بیماران و بهبود خدمات ارائه شده رعایت حریم خصوصی بیماران باید بیشتر مورد توجه قرار گیرد.

Patient’s View about the Protection of Privacy by Healthcare Practitioners in Shahid Beheshti Hospital, Qom, Iran

AbstractBackground Aims: Privacy is considered a fundamental value and one of the essential human rights that is closely with normative values, attitudes, beliefs and moral principles. Therefore, protection of patients' privacy as primary and ethical principles should be considered with all the physicians, nurses and caregivers. The study aimed to investigate the viewpoint of patients to the protection of privacy by health care practitioners of Shahid Beheshti hospital, Qom, Iran.Material Methods: This crosssectional study conducted on 462 patients hospitalized in Shahid Beheshti hospital of Qom, Iran. Subjects were selected by convenient sampling method. Data collection was the privacy questionnaire. Data analyzed using the ChiSquare، ANOVA and t test.Results: The results of this study showed that the protection of patients' privacy was inappropriate in 19.3%, in the 48.2% was moderate and in the 32.5% was appropriate.Conclusion: According to the viewpoint of the most patients, the protection of privacy was moderate. Therefore, in order to increase the trust and satisfaction of patients and improving the provided services, the privacy of patients should be given more attention.
