بررسی نقش پیش بینی‌ کننده سبک‌های فرزندپروری در هوش هیجانی دانش آموزان

زمینه و هدف: هوش هیجانی از طریق مدیریت موثر و استفاده از هیجان ها در انگیزش و برقراری ارتباط موثر، در تمامی ابعاد زندگی فردی نقش دارد. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی نقش پیش بینی کننده سبک های فرزندپروری در هوش هیجانی دانش آموزان انجام شد.روش بررسی: پژوهش حاضر مطالعه مقطعی از نوع همبستگی بود. جامعه آماری این پژوهش شامل کلیه دانش آموزان دختر و پسر مقطع راهنمایی شهر گرگان در سال 89-1390 بودند که با نمونه گیری خوشه ای چند مرحله ای 387 نفر (196 دختر و 191 پسر) انتخاب شدند. برای گردآوری داده ها از پرسشنامه استاندارد هوش هیجانی baron و پرسشنامه سبک های فرزندپروری baumrind استفاده شد. داده های پژوهش با استفاده از نرم افزار آماری spss نسخه 20 تجزیه و تحلیل شدند.یافته ها: نتایج نشان داد سبک های فرزندپروری والدین رابطه معنی داری با هوش هیجانی دانش آموزان داشت و به طور مشترک 0.87 از واریانس، متغیر هوش هیجانی را پیش بینی کرد. همچنین سبک فرزندپروری مقتدر قوی ترین پیش بین هوش هیجانی که با مقدار پیش بینی کنندگی مثبت 0.71، در دانش آموزان بود. سبک های فرزندپروری مستبد و آسان گیر نیز به صورت منفی به ترتیب 0.62 و 0.26 درصد از تغییرات هوش هیجانی را تبیین کردند.نتیجه گیری کلی: بر اساس نتایج بدست آمده از پژوهش حاضر، سبک های فرزندپروری عامل مهمی در پیش بینی هوش هیجانی دانش آموزان هستند. لذا پیشنهاد می شود جهت تقویت هوش هیجانی دانش آموزان، مشاوران مدارس به آموزش سبک های فرزندپروری مناسب برای والدین بپردازند.

The Predictive Role of Parenting Styles in Emotional Intelligence of Students

Abstract Background amp; Aim: Emotional intelligence plays a role in the all aspects of individual life through using emotions in gaining motivation and effective communication. The aim of the present study was to investigate the predictive role of parenting styles in student emotional intelligence.Materials amp; Methods: It was a crosssectional study. Statistical population was including the entire girls and boys student in the Middle Schools of Gorgan city in 20102011 and 387 individuals (196 girls and 191 boys) were selected through multistage clustering sampling method. The study instruments were Baumrind Parenting Styles and BarAn Emotion Quotient Intelligence questionnaires a. Data were analyzed by SPSS v20.Results: The results showed that parenting styles had a significant relationship with emotional intelligence of students, and they predicted 0.87 the variance of emotional intelligence. Also, the authoritative parenting styles were the strongest predictor of emotional intelligence among students with 0.71 positive predictive values. Authoritarian and permissive parenting styles explained the variations of emotional intelligence with negative prediction values of 0.62 and 0.26, respectively.Conclusion: Based on our results, parenting styles is an important agent in predicting emotional intelligence of students. Therefore it is proposed that school counselors teach proper parenting in order to improve emotional intelligence of students.
