چکیده
|
Today, the human world is governed differently from the past and under the amazing influence of technology. different areas of children's lives have found new dimensions under the influence of the momentary expansion of the digital environment. in today's industrial life, children spend a lot of time for various educational and entertainment activities in the digital environment, and the issue of protecting the rights of children and teenagers in cyberspace is an issue that deserves attention, which should be addressed by states and other civil institutions. in this regard, the general comment no. 25 of the united nations committee on the rights of the child, approved in 2021, which was issued under the title of children's rights in the digital environment, has determined the concepts and frameworks in this field.this research aims to answer the questions of who is a child and what are the effects of the digital environment on his/her life with a descriptive-analytical method and by reviewing documents, books and reviewing related scientific-research articles. from a legal point of view, what are the obligations of states to protect children in the digital environment? what are the ways to protect children's rights in the age of technology? the hypothesis of the authors is that states have a set of contractual and customary obligations in this connection.
