چکیده
|
Journal citation report from thomson isi (institute for scientific information) provides quantitative tools for evaluating scientific journals. the impact factor is a tool to measure of the frequency with which the average article in a journal has been cited in a given period of time. with other words, the impact factor is a measure reflecting the average number of citations to recent articles published in science and social science journals. generally, the impact factor is calculated for 2 and 5 years periods.
