The Seasonal Changes and Regional Evaluability of Sea Lettuce (Ulva spp. and Enteromorpha spp.) Distributed in İstanbul Bosphorus

The seasonal variation of sea lettuce (ulva spp. and enteromorpha spp.) which are widely distributed in istanbul bosphorus have been determined at 4 stations (two stations on east and two stations on west coast of istanbul bosphorus). according to in this study results fresh weight avarages of both genera samples were found to be maximum in summer months (73.375 gr/m^2) and minimum (27.49 gr/m^2) in winter months. fresh weight changes in sea lettuce samples and the results are consistent with the information given in the various studies.the biological characteristics of these species if known they were to evaluate in aquculture and fish restaurants.
