چکیده
|
Clarias gariepinus is cultivated, economically evaluated, and widely available in the inland waters of çukurova region. some morphometric properties of c. gariepinus population in aslantaş dam lake were determined in december 2011. to this end, 26 fish samples were collected with the help of spreader cast net and various morphometric characteristics were identified. morphometric data determined from these samples were presented as tables and figures. the mean total length and weight of fish caught have been determined as 383.65±6.367 mm and 472.40±11.56 g respectively. the total length-standard length relationship was calculated as tl=0.9831*sl-28.534 (r²=0.7897) using regression analysis. the data obtained are discussed in the light of current literature.
