The Parasite Fauna of Crucian Carp (Carassius gibelio Bloch., 1782) Inhabiting Karacaören ІІ Dam Lake (Burdur, Isparta)

This study was carried out between january 2010 - december 2010 to determine the parasites of crucian carp (carassius gibelio bloch., 1782) inhabiting karacaören ii dam lake. ages of 103 samples varying between 133-812 g in total were determined by capturing in monthly periods and the samples were examined in terms of parasitology. it is detected that these fish have a age range between i-vii age groups and 8 (7.7%) of them has been parasited by dactylogyrus anchoratus (dujardin, 1845), dactylogyrus minutus kulwiec, 1927, hysterothylacium aduncum (rudolphi, 1862) and lernaea cyprinacea l., 1758. these parasites are detected in crucian carps inhabiting karacaören ii dam lake for the first time and parasite numbers are found minimum 2 and maximum 60 in the fish examined.
