Glocal Translation

This article studies the relationship of glocalization and translation. it is argued that translation provides the condition of glocality where the global and the local establish communication. the invisibility of translation in globalization is highlighted and it is shown that translation has adapted itself to globalization by enforcing some qualities such as hypermobility, increasing connectivity, and etc. introducing the theoretical foundation of roland robertson's concept of glocalization, this article claims that glocal translation allows the interpenetration of the local and the global. from a glocal perspective, translation brings about interconnection between the global and the local, it promotes heterogenization, and enforces the agency of the local on the global scene.
