بررسی میزان گرایش به تفکر انتقادی در اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان در سال 1392

زمینه و هدف: تفکر نقادانه تفکری است که جهت رسیدن به یک نتیجه قابل اعتماد، جویای شواهد و مدارک می شود. هدف از انجام این مطالعه، تعیین میزان گرایش به تفکر انتقادی در اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان در سال 1392 بر اساس سن، جنس، نوع استخدام، رتبه دانشگاهی، فعالیت اجرایی، سابقه تدریس، تعداد واحد و دانشکده محل خدمت بود.مواد و روش ها: این مطالعه از نوع توصیفی و ابزار گردآوری داده ها پرسشنامه بود. پرسشنامه بکار رفته شامل دو بخش بود؛ بخش اول شامل متغیرهای دموگرافیک و بخش دوم آن، پرسشنامه استاندارد سنجش میزان گرایش به تفکر انتقادی ریکتس critical thinking disposition inventory (ctdi) بود که در اختیار 110 نفر از اعضای هیات علمی قرار گرفت. از این تعداد، 95 نفر پرسشنامه ها را تکمیل کرده و تحویل دادند. سپس داده های به دست آمده با کمک شاخص های آمار توصیفی (میانگین و انحراف معیار) و آزمون های آمار استنباطی ttest و anova oneway مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند.یافته ها: بین میانگین نمره تفکر انتقادی در جنس مونث (25/11) و مذکر (10/11) تفاوت معنی داری وجود نداشت. بین میانگین نمره خرده مقیاس نوآوری و رتبه دانشگاهی ارتباط معنی داری وجود داشت؛ به طوری که رتبه دانشگاهی مربی بیشترین مقدار (37/4) و استادیار کمترین مقدار (09/4) را دارا بودند. همچنین بین میانگین نمره خرده مقیاس نوآوری و دانشکده، ارتباط معناداری دیده شد؛ به طوری که بیشترین مقدار (37/4) مربوط به دانشکده پرستاری و مامایی و کمترین مقدار (05/4) مربوط به دانشکده دندانپزشکی بود.نتیجه گیری: میانگین نمره تفکر انتقادی و خرده مقیاس های آن در اعضای هیات علمی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی رفسنجان در سطح نسبتاً مطلوبی قرار دارد. با وجود این، نیاز بیشتر به آموزش این نوع تفکر خصوصاً در اعضای هیات علمی دانشکده دندانپزشکی به چشم می خورد.

Evaluation of Critical Thinking Disposition in Faculty Members of Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences in 2013

Background and Objective: Critical thinking is the type of thinking that follows evidence in order to achieve a reliable result. The present study aimed to assess the critical thinking among faculty members of Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences in 2013 on the basis of age, gender, type of employment, academic rank, administrative activities, teaching experiences, number of courses, and type of faculty.Materials and Methods: In this descriptive study, data were collected through a questionnaire consisted of two parts. The first part included demographic variables and the second part was to measure critical thinking based on Ricketts Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory (CTDI).The questionnaire was distributed among 110 faculty members that 95 (86%) of them completed and returned it. Data was analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics including ttest and one way ANOVA.Results: The results highlighted that there was no significant difference between the mean scores of females (11.25) and males (11.10). The mean scores of subscale innovation had a significant relationship with academic ranks in which the instructors had the highest mean score (4.37) and the assistant professors had the lowest mean score (4.09). The mean scores of subscale innovation also had a significant relationship with the type of faculty in which the Nursing and Midwifery school had the highest mean score (4.37), whilst the Dentistry School had the lowest mean score (4.05).Conclusion: Based on our results, the mean score of critical thinking and its subscales are in a relative favorable position in faculty members of Rafsanjan University of Medical Sciences.
