بررسی ارتباط هوش هیجانی با رفتارهای پرخطر رانندگی و پیامدهای آن در رانندگان متخلف شهر تهران در سال 1397: یک مطالعه توصیفی

چکیدهزمینه و هدف: سوانح ترافیکی در سراسر دنیا به عنوان علت اصلی ناتوانی و مرگ‌و‌میر شناخته شده‌اند و علت اصلی بیش‌تر این حوادث، خطاهای انسانی است. با توجه به اهمیت هوش هیجانی در کنترل رفتارها فردی، این مطالعه با هدف تعیین ارتباط هوش هیجانی با رفتارهای پرخطر رانندگی و پیامدهای آن در رانندگان متخلف شهر تهران در سال 1397 انجام شد.مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی بر روی 182 نفر از رانندگان متخلف شهر تهران که به صورت نمونه‌گیری در دسترس در سال 1397 انتخاب شده بودند، انجام شد. داده‌ها به وسیله فرم مشخصات دموگرافیک، پرسش‌نامه رفتارهای رانندگی manchester و پرسش‌نامه هوش هیجانیsiberia shering's جمع‌آوری و با استفاده از روش‌های آمار توصیفی، t مستقل و مدل معادلات ساختاری تجزیه و تحلیل شد.یافته‌ها: میانگین و انحراف معیار نمره هوش هیجانی و رفتار پرخطر رانندگان متخلف به ترتیب 0.33 1.85 و 0.59 2.09 برآورد شد. اگر چه میانگین نمره هوش هیجانی مردان بالاتر از زنان بود ولی این اختلاف از نظر آماری معنی‌دار نبود (0.065=p). نتایج مدل معادلات ساختاری نشان داد که با افزایش هوش هیجانی، رفتارهای پرخطر رانندگی با ضریب 0.36 و پیامدهای آن با ضریب 0.27 به شکل معنی‌دار کاهش می‌یابد (0.05>p ).نتیجه‌گیری: نظر به پایین بودن سطح هوش هیجانی رانندگان متخلف و عنایت به اهمیت هوش هیجانی در کاهش رفتارهای پرخطر رانندگی، لذا پیشنهاد می‌گردد که قبل از اعطای گواهی‌نامه به متقاضیان، هوش هیجانی آن‌ها مد نظر قرار گیرد. هم‌چنین می‌توان با آموزش مهار‌ت‌های هوش هیجانی به رانندگان متخلف، تلفات و خسارات سوانح ترافیکی را کاهش داد.

Investigating the Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Risky Driving Behaviors and Violation Consequences in Traffic Offenders in Tehran in 2018: A Descriptive Study

Background and Objectives: Road traffic accidents are a major cause of disability and mortality around the world and the most common cause of these accidents is often attributed to human errors. Considering the importance of emotional intelligence in controlling individual behaviors, the aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and risky driving behaviors and violation consequences in traffic offenders in Tehran in 2018.Materials and Methods: This descriptive study was conducted on 182 traffic offenders who were selected by convenience sampling method in Tehran in 2018. Demographic data form, Manchester Driving Behavior and Siberia Shering's Emotional Intelligence questionnaires were used for gathering information and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent ttest and Structural Equations Modeling.Results: The Mean ±SD score of emotional intelligence and risky driving behaviors were 1.85 ±0.33 and 2.09 ±0.59, respectively. Although the mean score of emotional intelligence was higher in men than women, this difference was not significant (p=0.065). The results of Structural Equation Modeling showed that with increasing emotional intelligence, risky driving behaviors with a coefficient of 0.36 and the violation consequences by a coefficient of 0.27 significantly decreased (p<0.05).Conclusion: Due to the low level of emotional intelligence of offending drivers and considering the importance of emotional intelligence in reducing risky driving behaviors, it is suggested that the emotional intelligence be considered before applicants getting a driver's license.
