استعاره‌های مفهومی مرگ در داستان سیاوش

در این پژوهش به بررسی استعاره‌های مفهومی مرگ در داستان سیاوش از شاهنامۀ فردوسی بر مبنای نظریّۀ زبان‌شناسی استعارۀ‌ مفهومی لیکاف و جانسون پرداخته شده‌است. بر اساس این بررسی مفهوم مرگ به شش کلان‌استعارۀ «مرگ، حقارت است»، «مرگ، جنگ است»، «مرگ، عهدشکنی است»، «مرگ، پایان است»، «مرگ، قصاص است» و «مرگ، سوگواری است» تقسیم شده‌است. سپس بر پایۀ‌ روایت داستان، هر کدام از کلان‌استعاره‌های مذکور را در آن مورد بررسی قرار دادیم و با آوردن شاهد مثال‌هایی از ابیات شاهنامه سعی بر آشکارکردن مفهوم مرگ از دیدگاه فردوسی برای مخاطب داشته‌ایم. این پژوهش با روش تحلیلی- توصیفی و بررسی استعاره‌های مربوط به مفهوم مرگ به این نتیجه منجرشد که دیدگاه فردوسی در مورد مرگ در داستان سیاوش به ازاء هریک از شخصیّت‌های داستانش متفاوت است. در واقع فردوسی با توجّه به جایگاه هر شخصیّت در داستان با شیوه‌ای متفاوت به پدیدۀ مرگ می‌نگرد، امّا در داستان سیاوش مرگ شخصیّت اوّل داستان را خویشکاری (function) وی می‌داند و از دیدگاه فردوسی مرگ سیاوش شروع اوست و با مرگ وی عطش انتقام و کینه‌جویی سرتاسر ایران را فرامی‌گیرد و باعث می‌شود تا هدف او که نابودی شرّ است، محقّق‌شود و توران از حکومت افراسیاب و وابستگانش نجات یابد.

the conceptual metaphors of death in the story of siavash in ferdowsi’s shahnameh are studied in this article based on lakoff and johnson’s linguistic theory of conceptual metaphor. the researchers find that the concept of death is reflected in six mega-metaphors, including death is humiliation, death is war, death is breach of promise, death is the end, death is revenge, and death is mourning. we have studied each of these mega-metaphors in the context of the narrative and attempted to shed light on the concept of death in ferdowsi’s view by bringing example sentences from shahnameh. the study is conducted with an analytical-descriptive method. it concludes that ferdowsi’s view of death in the story of siavash is different for the individual characters of the story. in fact, ferdowsi introduces the concept of death differently in accordance with the status of each character in the narrative. in the story of siavash, ferdowsi identifies the death of the first character of the story as his main function. ferdowsi believes that siavash’s death is his beginning because, with his death, a thirst for revenge develops throughout iran to realize his purpose, which was the elimination of evil, and the land of touran is cleansed from the rule of afrasiab and his relatives.
