بررسی سرشت «شر» در رمانی از بلقیس سلیمانی براساس آراء دارل کوئن

رمان «تخم شر» از بلقیس سلیمانی یکی از آثار متمایز ادبیات داستانی معاصر فارسی است که نویسنده طی آن، تلاش کرده است تا از طریق قصه‌ای پرکشش و مملو از خرده‌روایت‌هایِ متنوّعِ فرعی، به موضوع «شر» به‌عنوان مفهومی مجادله‌آمیز و خطیر بپردازد. در طول این رمان، خواننده مکرّراً، با مفهوم شر از منظرهای مختلف فلسفی، الهیّاتی و اخلاقی گرفته تا برداشت‌های عامیانه و حتی واژگانی آن مواجه است. همین تنوع در کاربرد باعث ایجاد این سردرگمی می‌شود که نویسنده کلاً با کدام تعریف و کاربرد از مفهوم «شر»، همداستان است و اساساً، چه ارتباطی میان جزئیات و فرایند روایت با تعابیر مختلف از این مفهوم وجود دارد. در این مقاله، تلاش شده است تا به روش تحلیلی-توصیفی و با استفاده از مبانی نظری ذکرشده از سوی دارل کوئن (daryl koehn )، موضوع «شر» در رمان یادشده مورد بررسی قرار گیرد. کوئن ضمن نقد دیدگاه‌های اخلاق‌گرایان در زمینه سرشت آگاهانه و عامدانه «شر»، منشا شرور را فرایندهای ناخودآگاهی می‌داند که از جهل ما در شناخت خودمان سرچشمه گرفته‌اند. از میان شخصیت‌های رمان «تخم شر»، «سهراب» بیش از همه با مساله «شر» پیوند دارد: شخصیت ملول، خودشیفته، ناسپاس، مفلوک و خودنمایی که زندگی و جوانی خود و همسرش «ماهرخ» را قربانی شرارت درونی‌اش می‌کند. نتایج بررسی اعمال و افکار این شخصیت بر اساس آموزه‌های کوئن، نشان‌ می‌دهد که ملال، ازخودبیگانگی و وسواس جلب توجّه و تاییدِ دیگران، اصلی‌ترین خاستگاه‌های «شر» در این شخصیت محسوب می‌شوند. این فرایندهای ناخودآگاه «سهراب» را به بازیگری تبدیل می‌کنند که تمام زندگی‌اش را بر سر بازی در نقش‌های مورد پسند و تایید دیگران، تباه می‌سازد.

investigating the nature of evil in a novel by belqis soleimani based on the views of daryl koehn

belqis soleimani’s novel seed of evil is one of the distinctive works of contemporary persian fiction, in which the author has tried to address the subject of evil as a controversial and serious concept through a compelling story full of various sub-narratives. throughout the novel, the reader is repeatedly confronted with the concept of evil from various philosophical, theological, and moral perspectives to its slang and even lexical conceptions, and this raises the question of what kind of evil the author means. in this article, an attempt has been made to investigate the issue of evil in the mentioned novel by descriptive-analytical method and using the theoretical foundations mentioned by daryl koehn. criticizing the views of ethicists and rationalists on the conscious and deliberate nature of evil, koehn considers the origin of evil to be unconscious processes that have nothing to do with the conscious choice of persons. among the characters in the novel evil seed, sohrab is most related to the issue of evil. a bored, narcissistic, ungrateful, miserable and ostentatious character who sacrifices his life and youth and his wife mahrokh for his inner evil. the results of examining the actions and thoughts of this character based on koehn’s teachings show that boredom arising from alienation and obsession to attract the attention and approval of others are the main origins of evil in this character. unconscious processes that turn sohrab into an actor who spends his whole life playing in favorite roles and being approved by others.
