مشکلات و نیازهای ‌روان‌شناختی مراقبین خانوادگی سالمندان: یک مطالعه ترکیب مضمون

اهداف مراقبت خانوادگی از سالمندان فرایند پرتنش و چالش‌زایی است و ممکن است مشکلات ‌روان‌شناختی برای مراقبین به وجود بیاورد. هدف پژوهش حاضر شناسایی مشکلات و نیازهای ‌روان‌شناختی مراقبین خانوادگی سالمندان است. مواد و روش ها پژوهش حاضر مروری و از نوع ترکیب مضمون است و براساس چک‌لیست پریزما انجام شد. این مطالعه مقالات کیفی فارسی و انگلیسی تا مرداد 1403 را بررسی کرده است. مقالات مرتبط از پایگاه‌های اطلاعاتی پابمد، اسکوپوس، وب آو ساینس، مگیران، مرکز اطلاعاتی علمی جهاد دانشگاهی و مجلات تخصصی نور انتخاب شدند. در‌نهایت 16 مطالعه (13 مطالعه انگلیسی و 3 مطالعه فارسی) برای مرور نهایی انتخاب شد. یافته ها در این مطالعه 2 طبقه اصلی، شامل مشکلات ‌روان‌شناختی و نیازهای ‌روان‌شناختی حاصل شد. مشکلات ‌روان‌شناختی، شامل 6 طبقه فرعی بود: کنار گذاشته شدن نیازهای شخصی و تضعیف هویت شخصی، تداخل نقش مراقبت با مدیریت زندگی و فعالیت‌های تفریحی، غرق شدن در هیجانات منفی و ناخوشایند، فشار سنگین مراقبت و اختلال در سایر نقش‌های زندگی، فقدان روابط صمیمی و کاهش رفاه و سلامتی و مختل شدن خواب. نیازهای ‌روان‌شناختی شامل 4 طبقه فرعی بود: نیاز به حمایت و تکیه‌گاه، رسیدگی به وضعیت سلامت روان، همدلی و دیده شدن و رهایی موقت از مراقبت.نتیجه گیری نتایج پژوهش به درک عمیق‌تری از چالش‌ها و نیازهای ‌روان‌شناختی مراقبین سالمندان کمک می‌کند و بر ضرورت توجه بیشتر به سلامت روانی آن‌ها تاکید دارد. این نتایج می‌تواند پایه‌ای برای تدوین سیاست‌ها و برنامه‌های حمایتی جامع‌تر برای این گروه باشد.  

psychological needs and problems of family caregivers of older adults: a thematic synthesis study

objectives family caregiving of older adults is a stressful and challenging job that may lead to psychological problems for the caregivers. this study aims to identify the psychological needs and problems of the family caregivers of older adults.methods & materials this is a review study using the thematic synthesis approach, which was conducted based on the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (prisma) checklist. this study reviewed qualitative articles in persian and english published up to august 2024. relevant articles were identified from pubmed, scopus, web of science, magiran, scientific information database (sid), and noormags. ultimately, 16 studies (13 in english and three in persian) were selected for the final review. results two main categories of psychological problems and psychological needs emerged. psychological problems consisted of six sub-themes: neglecting personal needs and weakening of individual identity, interference of caregiving role with life and recreational activities, drowning in negative and unpleasant emotions, heavy caregiving burden and disruption of other life roles, lack of intimate relationships, decreased well-being and health, and sleep disturbances. the psychological needs included four sub-themes: need for support, need to address mental health conditions, need for empathy and appreciation, and need for a temporary break from caregiving.conclusion the results contribute to a deeper understanding of the psychological problems and needs of caregivers of older adults and emphasize the necessity of paying more attention to their mental health. the findings can be useful in developing comprehensive supportive policies and programs for this group.
