the impact of indoor environmental quality of green buildings on occupants' health and satisfaction: a systematic review

Introduction: the main benefits of green buildings for energy and water conservation have been investigated and well recognized in previous studies. however, indoor environmental quality (ieq) and human health benefits of green buildings have not been examined comprehensively. this study aimed to conduct a systematic review over the current status of green and non green buildings on their occupants rsquo; health and satisfaction.methods: a systematic search was conducted throughout the following databases: science direct, google scholar, and springer. we reviewed 690 articles that examined the relationship between buildings and health. in total, after excluding the irrelevant titles and non english articles, 40 papers were included in the final analysis. articles that evaluated ieq factors and occupants rsquo; health through surveys from 2005 to 2018 years were selected for investigation.results: the most important result of this study was identification of important factors in ieq, including building design, aesthetics, and ergonomics, which have been less evaluated in previous research. contrary to our assumption, the results of several studies indicated a further decline in ieq parameters in buildings with leadership in energy and environmental design (leed, usa) and building research establishment environmental assessment method (breeam, europe) certification. however, performance improvements were reported in green buildings located in asia (especially singapore and taiwan).conclusion: according to this systematic review, we cannot claim that occupants of the green buildings enjoy higher ieq, satisfaction, or health, compared with the occupants of nongreen buildings.

تاثیر کیفیت محیط داخلی ساختمان‌های سبز بر سلامت و رضایت شغلی: یک بررسی منظم

زمینه و هدف: امروزه مزایای ساختمان های سبز بر حفاظت از انرژی و آب به خوبی مورد تحقیق و شناخته شده است. با این حال، کیفیت محیط داخلی و مزایای سلامت انسان در ساختمان های سبز به طور کامل ارزیابی نشده است. در حال حاضر عملکرد ساختمان های سبز در مطالعات مختلف متفاوت است . به گونه ای که حصول اتفاق نظر در مورد برتری ساختمان های سبز را دشوار می سازد .روش کار: این مطالعه برآن است تا با بررسی نظام مند پژوهش های موجود به این سوال پاسخ دهد که ایا افراد در ساختمان های سبز سالم تر و راضی تر از ساختمان های غیر سبز هستند. برای این منظور در مطالعات مورد بررسی فاکتور هایی که هر پژوهش مورد ارزیابی قرار داده است و همچنین نوع سیستم رتبه بندی ساختمان، مورد بررسی قرار گرفت.یافته ها : از مهمترین نتایج این مطالعه شناسایی فاکتورهای مهمی در کیفیت محیط داخلی از جمله طراحی معماری، زیبایی شناسی فرم، ارگونومی و ... است که کمتر در مطالعات به آن ها پرداخته شده است. همچنین نتایج پراکندگی مطالعات در سرتاسر جهان حاکی از آن بود که بر خلاف تصور نگارندگان ساختمان هایی با گواهی LEED و BREEAM( آمریکا و اروپا) افت بیشتری در پارامترها ی محیط داخلی شاهد هستند، این در حالی است که در ساختمان های سبز واقع در قاره آسیا (به خصوص سنگاپور و تایوان) شاهد بهبود عملکرد هستیم.نتیجه گیری: در نهایت این پژوهش نظام مند به این نتیجه رسید که به طور قطع نمی توان ادعا کرد ساختمان های سبز از رضایت و سلامت بیشتری نسبت به ساختمان های غیر سبز بهره مند هستند.
