نگاهی روش‌شناسانه به نظریه‌ی قرارداد اجتماعی جان لاک

هر نظریه‌ای که در علوم انسانی مطرح می‌شود مبتنی بر مبانی هستی‌شناسی، معرفت‌شناسی و انسان‌شناسی خاصی است. شناخت این مبانی و ارتباط آن‌ها با نظریه‌ی مدنظر را می‌توان «روش‌شناسی بنیادین» نامید. این مقاله با روش توصیفی تحلیلی و با رویکرد روش‌شناسی بنیادین به بررسی نظریه‌ی قرارداد اجتماعی «جان لاک» می‌پردازد و تلاش می‌کند که ارتباط این نظریه را با مبانی هستی‌شناختی، معرفت‌شناختی و انسان‌شناختی لاک روشن سازد. به‌لحاظ هستی‌شناسی، سوبژکتیویته و اومانیسم و همچنین سکولاریسم اندیشه‌ی قرارداد اجتماعی لاک را راه‌بری می‌کند. تلفیق تجربه‌گرایی با نوعی مابعدالطبیعه و تضعیف عقل قدسی با قراردادن عقل در مقام داور وحی، دو مبنای مهم معرفت‌شناختی لاک در این نظریه است. به‌لحاظ انسان‌شناسی نیز نگاه خوش‌بینانه به طبیعت انسانی در اندیشه‌ی او تاثیرگذار بوده است. بر این اساس، نظریه‌ی قرارداد اجتماعی لاک که بعد از دوران مدرن مطرح شده است واجد ماهیت جدیدی است؛ ماهیتی که نمایانگر نگرش جدیدی به انسان و نسبت او با جهان است؛ نگرشی که در طی آن، انسان و خواست‌ها و امیال او محور قرار می‌گیرد.

A Methodological Review of John Locke’s Social Contract Theory

Every theory proposed in the humanities is based on a specific ontological, epistemological, and anthropological foundation. Recognition of these principles and their relationship with the theory in question can be called fundamental methodology. Using a descriptiveanalytical method and fundamental methodology, this paper investigates John Locke’s social contract theory and aims to clarify the relationship of this theory to Locke’s ontological, epistemological and anthropological principles. In terms of ontology, subjectivity, humanism, and secularism inform Lock’s social contract theory. Combination of empiricism with a kind of metaphysics and weakening of sacred intellect by placing the reason as the judge of revelation are the two important principles of Locke’s epistemology in this theory. In terms of anthropology, an optimistic view towards the human nature has influenced his thinking. Accordingly, Locke’s social contract theory, which has been put forward in the postmodern era, has developed a new entity,  one that represents a new attitude towards Man and his relation to the world, an attitude in which Man, his will and desires are centered.
