تعهدات حرفه‌ای دستیاران پزشکی در یک بیمارستان آموزشی:یک مطالعه مقطعی

سابقه و هدف: تعهد حرفه‌ای مجموعه‌‌ای از ارزش‌‌ها، رفتارها و روابطی است که موجب تقویت و استحکام اعتماد جامعه به پزشکان می‌شود و توسعه آن یکی از اهداف حیاتی و موضوعات اصلی آموزش در دانشکده‌های پزشکی است. مطالعه حاضر با هدف بررسی میزان تعهد حرفه‌ای دستیاران پزشکی در یک بیمارستان آموزشی، انجام پذیرفت.مواد و روش ‌ها: مطالعه توصیفی- مقطعی حاضر، در سال 1400 در جمعیت دستیاران در حال تحصیل چهار رشته ماژور بیمارستان افضلی‌پور کرمان (داخلی، جراحی، اطفال و زنان و زایمان) انجام شد. داده‌ها به وسیله پرسشنامه abim جمع‌آوری شد و آشنا بودن با مفهوم تعهد حرفه‌ای از عوامل مورد بررسی در این مطالعه بود. آنالیز داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار spss نسخه 22، روش‌های آمار توصیفی و تحلیلی (mann-whitney و kruskal-walis) انجام شد و مقدار p کم‌تر از 0.05 معنی‌دار در نظر گرفته شد.یافته‌ها: در این مطالعه، تعهدات حرفه‌ای 67 دستیار پزشکی بررسی شد. بیش‌ترین تعداد دستیاران، زن بودند (65.6 درصد). میانگین تعهد حرفه‌ای 7.8 و نسبتاً مطلوب بود. میانگین نمره احترام و نوع‌دوستی، تعالی و شرافت و درستکاری به‌ترتیب، 1/96±7/02، 1/99±8/26 و 2/05±8/32 بود. میانگین نمره احترام و نوع ‌دوستی در دستیارانی که با مفهوم تعهد حرفه‌ای آشنا بودند، بیش‌تر بود (0/024=p). بیش‌ترین امتیاز مربوط به خرده مقیاس شرافت و درست‌کاری بود و خرده مقیاس احترام و نوع ‌دوستی کم‌ترین امتیاز را به خود اختصاص داد.استنتاج: تعهد حرفه‌ای دستیاران پزشکی، نسبتاً مطلوب بوده است. با این وجود، انجام مطالعات بیش‌تر در این زمینه جهت شناسایی عوامل موثر برای ارتقای تعهد حرفه‌ای پزشکان پیشنهاد می‌شود

professionalism among medical residents in a teaching hospital: a cross-sectional study

background and purpose: professionalism is a set of values, behaviors, and relationships that enhance and maintain society’s trust in physicians. its development is a vital goal and a key focus of medical education. this study was conducted to investigate the levels of professionalism among medical residents at a teaching hospital.materials and methods: this descriptive cross-sectional survey was conducted in 2021 on medical residents studying four major specialities (internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics) at kerman’s afzalipour teaching hospital. data were collected using the abim professionalism questionnaire. the level of familiarity with the concept of medical professionalism and ethics was one of the factors assessed in this study. data analysis was performed using spss version 22 software, employing descriptive and analytical statistical methods, including the mann-whitney and kruskal-wallis tests. a p value less than 0.05 was considered significant.results: in this study, the level of professionalism in 67 medical residents was assessed. the majority of participants were women (65.6%). the overall mean professionalism score was 7.8, which was considered relatively favorable. the mean scores for the subscales of respect/altruism, excellence/honor, and honesty were 7.02 ± 1.96, 8.26 ± 1.99, and 8.32± 2.05, respectively. the average score for respect/altruism was significantly higher in medical residents who were familiar with the concept of professionalism (p=0.024). the highest score was observed in the honor and integrity subscale, while the respect and altruism subscale had the lowest score.conclusion: according to the results of the present study, the levels of professionalism among participating medical residents were relatively favorable. however, to further improve professionalism in medical personnel, additional studies are needed to better identify the factors influencing it.
