شناخت و معرفی مجموعه قلعه ماکو (استان آذربایجان غربی)

نمونه شاخصی از قلعه‌های تاریخی ایران در منطقه آذربایجان وجود دارد. یکی از نقاطی که در تاریخ طبیعی، سیاسی، تاریخی و فرهنگی منطقه در عرصه هنر معماری ایرانی قابل‌مطالعه بوده و به‌دلیل صعب‌العبوربودن، هنوز دست‌نخورده باقی مانده است، مجموعه تاریخی قلعه ماکو با برج و باروهای مستحکم و مشرف ‌به شهر کنونی است که نوعی معماری زیرصخره‌ای ایران محسوب می‌شود، اما همچنان بخش بسیاری از ساختارهای معماری آن در زیر لایه‌های واریزه فرسایشی صخره قرار دارند. محدوده قلعه از کوه قیه که قلعه در زیر سایبان آن قرار دارد شروع می‌شود و تا خیابان طالقانی شهر جدید ماکو ادامه دارد. این قلعه در گذشته بافت اصلی شهر با حصارها، برج و باروهای بلند، پادگان نظامی و مراکز اقامتی و خدماتی را شامل می‌شده است. این پژوهش با هدف معرفی مجموعه تاریخی قلعه (شهرستان ماکو) به‌عنوان یکی از نمونه‌های نادر معماری زیرصخره‌ای جهان انجام شده و به‌دلیل قرارگیری آن در شاه‌راه ورود به ایران در دوره‌های تاریخی از اهمیت زیادی برخوردار بوده است. در این پژوهش که بر پایه تحقیقات میدانی و مطالعات تاریخی و نتایج یک فصل باستان‌شناسی انجام شده، به ویژگی‌های تاریخی و جغرافیایی و معماری سازه‌های قلعه پرداخته شده است.

recognition and introduction of maku castle complex (west azerbaijan province)

there is a significant example of historical castles in iran in the region of azerbaijan. one of the places that can be studied in terms of nature, politics, and cultural history of the region is the historical complex of maku castle with its especial rock-cut architecture which still remains untouched due to its impassability; therfore many of its architectural structures are still under the erosive debris layers of the upstream cliffs. the castle area starts from qeh mountain, under which the castle is located, and continues to taleghani street in the new city of maku. in the past, this castle included the main texture of the city with fences, tall towers and fortifications, military barracks and residential and service centers. the aim of this study was to introduce the historical complex of the castle (maku city) as one of the rare examples of cut-rock architecture in the world and because of its location in iran and that its role in historical periods has been of great importance. in this research, which is based on field research and historical studies and the results of an archeological excavation, the historical and geographical features and architecture of the castle have been discussed.
