در تحقیقات علمی، موش آزمایشگاهی از جایگاه ویژه‌ای برخوردار است و به عنوان اولین حیوان انتخابی مطرح می‌باشد. موش‌های آزمایشگاهی در مطالعات و تحقیقات بیولوژی، باکتریولوژی، ویرولوژی، فارماکولوژی، فیزیولوژی بیماریها، سلول و سرطان‌شناسی، تغذیه، ژنتیک، تهیه سرم و واکسن، تست فرآورده‌های بیولوژیک، تست فرآورده‌های دارویی، مطالعات روان‌شناسی، آزمایشات رفتاری، تست ناهنجاری‌زایی، تست‌های سم-شناسی، تست مکمل‌های غذایی، تحقیقات فضایی، ایزوتوپ‌ها و مواد رادیو اکتیو و بسیاری از موضوعات دیگر مورد استفاده قرار می‌گیرند. از آنجاکه در بسیاری از آزمایشاتی که بر روی موش های آزمایشگاهی انجام می گیرند، نیاز به بیهوش کردن آنها جهت انواع روش های تزریقات، خونگیری ها، جراحی و ... می باشد، لذا لزوم بکارگیری و استفاده از داروهای مناسب بیهوشی و طریقه استفاده از آنها و معرفی انواع روش های استاندارد تزریقات در این حیوان آزمایشگاهی ضروری به نظر می رسد.

Review on anesthesia and injections in laboratory mice

Laboratory mice in biology, bacteriology, virology, pharmacology, physiology of diseases, the cell and cancer, nutrition, genetics, serum and vaccine preparation, biological products testing, pharmaceutical products testing, psychological studies, behavioral tests, anomalies testing, toxicology tests, nutritional supplements testing, space research, isotopes and radioactive materials, and many other topics are used. Since many experiments performed on laboratory mice, they need to be anesthetized for a variety of injection methods, blood collections, surgery, and so on. Therefore, the necessity of using appropriate anesthetic drugs and introducing various standard injections in this laboratory animal is necessary.
