انگیخته‌آموزی اصطلاحات علمی و ضرورت تدوین اصطلاح‌آموزهای تحلیلی، همراه با ذکر یک نمونۀ کاربردی

هدف از به کارگیری روش انگیخته آموزی اصطلاحات علمی آن است که به جای برقراری ارتباط بین کلیت یک تعریف و کلیت اصطلاح مرتبط با آن (انگیختگی نشانه به نشانه)**، با رویکردی تقلیل گرا ابتدا به تجزیۀ اصطلاحات و تعاریف به واحد های تشکیل دهندۀ آن ها یعنی تک واژها و مولفه های معنایی پرداخته و سپس ارتباط منطقی مابین هر یک از تک واژها با مولفه های معنایی مربوطه تبیین گردد (انگیختگی معنایی). بدین ترتیب نه تنها یادگیری مفاهیم علمی و تعاریف و اصطلاحات وابسته به آن ها به شکلی موثرتر و منسجم تر انجام می گیرد، بلکه استمرار در به کارگیری این شیوۀ اصطلاح آموزی می تواند از طریق تقویت تفکر زایا، آمادگی ذهنی ویژه ای در افراد پدید آورد که قادر به درک اصطلاحات علمی جدید با ساختار صرفی-معنایی مشابه با آموخته های قبلی باشند (رویکرد مفهوم مقصد) و در مواجهه با مفاهیم نو نیز بتوانند دست به اصطلاح سازی بزنند (رویکرد اصطلاح مقصد).

A suggested Motivational Method for Teaching Scientific Terminology, With a Practical Example

Using a reductionist approach, the motivational method for teaching scientific terminology aims at breaking down terms and their definitions into separate components, i.e. morphemes and their semantic features, rather than establishing a connection between terms and their definitions as holistic units. In other words, the ultimate goal of this method is achieving “semantic motivation,” (as opposed to “sign-to-sign motivation”) which involves a logical interface between each morpheme and its corresponding semantic features. The advantages of employing this method can be far-reaching in terms of its impact upon the learner’s ability to understand, analyze, and even produce scientific terms. Through a consistent implementation of the motivational method, not only will we be able to facilitate the learning of scientific concepts, their definitions, and relevant terms more effectively and systematically, but we can also empower the learners to use their productive thinking skills both to comprehend the existing terms (semasiological approach) and to coin new terms when encountering new concepts (onomasiological approach).
