اثر متقابل پیچیدگی‌اقتصادی و آزادی‌اقتصادی بر رانت منابع طبیعی

در دهه‌های اخیر، بسیاری از کشورها به واسطه بهره‌برداری از منابع طبیعی به ثروت قابل توجهی دست یافته‌اند. با این حال، این ثروت، همواره منجر به توسعه پایدار نشده و در بسیاری از موارد، وابستگی به منابع طبیعی و کاهش تنوع اقتصادی به تله‌های توسعه‌نیافتگی انجامیده است. این پدیده که تحت عنوان نفرین منابع شناخته می‌شود، سوالات مهمی را درباره نحوه بهره‌برداری از منابع طبیعی و تاثیرات آن بر ساختار اقتصادی کشورها مطرح می‌کند. هدف مطالعه حاضر بررسی اثر متقابل پیچیدگی اقتصادی و آزادی اقتصادی بر رانت منابع طبیعی کشورهای منتخب تولیدکننده علم طی دوره 2000-2021، با رهیافت پانل دیتا است. براساس نتایج پژوهش، ابعاد پیچیدگی اقتصادی (شامل پیچیدگی فناوری، تحقیقاتی و تجاری)، آزادی اقتصادی و اثر متقابل ابعاد پیچیدگی اقتصادی با آزادی اقتصادی تاثیر منفی و معنادار بر شاخص رانت منابع طبیعی در کشورهای منتخب مورد مطالعه دارد. همچنین براساس نتایج تخمین، کشورهای منتخب درحال توسعه در مقایسه با کشورهای منتخب توسعه یافته از منظر پیچیدگی فناوری، تحقیقاتی و تجاری عملکرد مناسبی نداشته‌اند و نیازمند تمرکز و گسترش این بخش‌ها هستند؛ همچنین در زمینه آزادی اقتصادی کشورهای منتخب درحال توسعه نسبت به کشورهای منتخب توسعه یافته دارای عملکرد ضعیفی هستند.

the interaction of economic complexity and economic freedom on natural resource rents

in recent decades, many countries have gained considerable wealth by exploiting natural resources. however, this wealth has not always led to sustainable development, and in many cases, dependence on natural resources has reduced economic diversity and even led to undeveloped traps. this phenomenon, known as the curse of resources, raises important questions about how natural resources are exploited and its effects on the economic structure of countries. the aim of the present study is to examine the interaction of economic complexity and economic freedom on the rents of natural resources of selected countries producing science during the period 2000-2021, with the panel data approach. based on the results, the dimensions of economic complexity (including technological, research and commercial complexity), economic freedom and the interaction of economic complexity with economic freedom have a negative and meaningful impact on the rents of natural resources in selected countries. also, the developing countries have not performed well compared to the developed countries in terms of technological, research and commercial complexity and require the concentration and expansion of these sectors; in the field of economic freedom, the developing countries have a poor performance compared to the developed countries.
