معرفی گونه‌ی جدیدی از جنس sphaerulina در ایران

در راستای مطالعات تاکسونومیک قارچ های سپتوریا و شبه سپتوریا در ایران، گونه ی جدیدی از جنس sphaerulina روی میزبان populus sp. بر اساس توالی یابی ناحیه its از rdna و بررسی های مرفولوژیک تحت نام sphaerulina osipyaniae sp. nov. azimi  توصیف شد. مقایسه توالی نمونه مورد مطالعه با توالی mycosphaerella populi (=sphaerulina frondicola) از بانک ژن نشان داد که گونه sphaerulina روی populus در ایران گونه ی جدیدی برای این جنس است. لکه ها در هر دو سطح رویی و زیری برگ، گرد تا کشیده به رنگ خاکستری روشن با حاشیه مشخص به رنگ قهوه ای تیره، با قطر 5-2 میلی متر بودند. لکه ها گاهی به هم پیوسته و لکه هایی نامنظم با اندازه بزرگ‌تر را تشکیل می دادند. کنیدیوما از نوع پیکنیدیوم، نسبتاً گرد، به‌رنگ قهوه ای تیره تا سیاه، در لکه های هر دو سطح رویی و زیری برگ بصورت جدا از هم و پراکنده تشکیل شده بودند. قطر پیکنیدیوم ها (200-150) 160 میکرومتر و دارای دهانه منفرد انتهایی بودند. کنیدیوم ها داسی شکل، برخی در انتها دارای خمیدگی، نیمه شفاف، دارای یک بند، با قاعده گرد و در راس گرد تا کمی باریک شده بودند. طول کنیدیوم ها 46-35 میکرومتر و عرض آن 4-3 میکرومتر اندازه گیری شد.
