واژه و واژه‌گزینی ریاضی در گذر زمان

در این نوشته‏، پس‌از بحثی در مورد منشاء واژه (نام)، مقولۀ تخصصی واژه‌ و واژه‌گزینی ریاضی و به‌ویژه سیر تحولات واژه‌گزینی را در ریاضیات معاصر‏، از زمان تاسیس دارالفنون تا زمان حاضر مورد توجه قرار می‌دهیم. نیز اصول حاکم بر واژه‌گزینی در ویراست‌های اول و دوم ‎  واژه‌نامۀ ریاضی و آمار  (انجمن ریاضی ایران) را مرور می‌کنیم. در پایان‏، با ذکر دلایلی‏، پیشنهاد می‌کنیم که این واژه‌نامه هر‌چه زودتر به‌صورت برخط در معرض دید کاربران قرار داده ‌شود.

in this article، after presenting a discussion about the origin of the word (name)، the specialized category of the word and mathematical terminology in different historical eras، and especially the evolution ofterminology in contemporary mathematics from ``dār ul-funun'' until now، as well as the principles governing it in the first and second editions of the ‎textit{dictionary of mathematics and statistics}‎، we have paid attention to، and at the end، citing reasons، we have suggested that this dictionary be exposed to users online as soon as possible.
