ابررویه‌های پوچ در هندسهٔ لورنتسی و کاربردهای آن

ابررویه‌های پوچ جایگاه ویژه‌ای در هندسه و فیزیک، به‌ویژه نظریهٔ نسبیت، دارند. در این مقاله، توصیفی از ابر‌رویه‌های پوچِ فضا‌زمان و برخی کاربردهای آن‌ها در فیزیک به‌دست می‌دهیم، از‌جملهٔ ویژگی‌های ریاضی سیاه‌چاله و افق پیشامد را بیان می‌کنیم و توصیف ریاضی از برخی فضازمان‌های مهم در فیزیک، مانند فضازمان‌های مجانبی‌تخت و مجانبی دوسیتر، به‌دست می‌دهیم و به قضیهٔ مهم شکافندهٔ پوچ اشاره می‌کنیم. همچنین، به‌کوتاهی زیرخمینه‌های پوچ خمینه‌های شبه‌ریمانی را بررسی خواهیم کرد.

null hypersurfaces in lorentzian geometry and their applications

in this expository paper‎, ‎a description of null hypersurfaces in space forms and some of their applications have been given‎. ‎such hypersurfaces are of special interest in geometry and physics‎. ‎among other results of the paper‎, ‎geometric properties of black holes‎, ‎event horizons‎, ‎the important cheeger–gromoll splitting theorem and some famous space-forms such as asymptotically flat/de sitter space forms have been stated and considered‎. ‎finally‎, ‎null submanifolds in pseudo-riemannian manifolds have been described shortly.
