کارکرد اجتماعی دین از منظر علامه طباطبائی (ره)

یکی از مهمترین بحث های پیرامون جامعه شناسی در دهه های اخیر بحث در مورد جامعه شناسی دین و نقش دین درجامعه است که مورد تضارب آرای متفکران اسلامی و جامعه شناسان غیر اسلامی قرار گرفته است وتبدیل به یک چالش در میان جامعه شناسان شده که باید از نظر آنان مورد بررسی قرار گیرد. یکی از متفکران اسلامی در این زمینه علامه سیدمحمدحسین طباطبایی است که هدف از نوشتن این مقاله بررسی نظرات ایشان در این زمینه است. روش تحقیق در این نوشتار روش کتابخانه‌ای بر مبنای نظرات علامه طباطبایی است. نتایج حاصله این را نشان می‌دهد که علامه، دین را به‌عنوان یک پدیده این‌دنیایی نگاه نمی‌کنند و برای آن برخلاف برخی از متفکران غربی، منشاء مادی و دنیایی قائل نیستند، بلکه منشا دین را الهی می‌دانند. ایشان معتقدند که دین دارای کارکرد‌های مثبتی است و کارکردهای دین را از حیث اجتماعی، قوام‌بخشیِ انسجام جامعه، روحیۀ حق‌طلبی و مبارزه با ظلم در جامعه، برقراری عدالت اجتماعی در جامعه، ظرفیت تمدن‌سازی، روحیۀ امید و استمراربخشی جامعه با توجه به پیوند دین وجامعه می‌دانند.

The social function of religion from the perspective of Allameh Tabatabai

One of the most important discussions about sociology in recent decades is the discussion of the sociology of religion and the role of religion in society, which has been conflicted by Islamic thinkers and nonIslamic sociologists and has become a challenge among sociologists that should be assessed in their opinion. One of the Islamic thinkers in this field is Allameh Seyed Mohammad Hossein Tabatabai. The purpose of writing this article is to study his views in this field. The research method in this article is a library method based on the views of Allameh Tabatabai. The results show that Allameh does not view religion as a worldly phenomenon and, unlike some Western thinkers, does not consider it to be of material and worldly origin, but considers the origin of religion to be divine. He believes that religion has positive functions and considers the functions of religion in terms of social, strengthening the cohesion of society, the spirit of righteousness and combating oppression in society, establishing social justice in society, the capacity for civilization, the spirit of hope and continuity of society with regard to religion and society.
